It's unlikely that Google / Apple will put this into Chrome or Safari and as Brave already uses the Yubico stuff to support UDF I would imagine it's not that much work to add in. Available now on Android, iOS, Windows, macOS and Linux. Only Brave offers me to plug in a UDF key to the Lightning port but from the post I saw from Yubico, it looks like their SDK supports reading NFC keys now from iOS13+. 1 key will stay with me on a lanyard, 1 key will stay hidden at my house, 1 key will sit in a safety deposit box. Ill register each one with my password manager and email account (which no service but SimpleLogin has because I use aliases). Brave even lets you contribute to your favorite publishers automatically with Basic Attention Token. Despite the fact that the YubiKey is highly intuitive and fast and easy to use, Brave is mindful of the fact that as it grows, not everyone is equally. Wildly paranoid about losing access to my accounts as I add more security. Brave is an open-source, privacy-protecting, performant web browser that blocks ads and trackers by default from the inventor of Javascript and co-founder of Mozilla & Firefox.īrave blocks the ads and trackers that slow you down, chew up your bandwidth, and invade your privacy.
